Kirky is HOME! The fix something team is ready to work.
In preparation I printed large copies of the floor plans for Burns Manor. I also printed what I’m calling a “rundown” sheet for each of the rooms. These rundown sheets will be posted in each room and will give the rundown of the room specs, major items to complete, details and design notes.
Nicole Curtis would do something similar but she would write directly on the wall. If the room was white boxed and painted that’s the end of your notes. So I one up’d it and just made sheets to tape up there.
Kirk was in Louisiana at the time. We all planned to do Mardi Gras with his family and fly back to Detroit to start our new life and plans.
We had an amazing time but I’d be lying if I said anticipation of returning to Detroit wasn’t stressing me out.
But back to the task at hand… reorganizing the renovation plan. That’s what we are working on today.
Kirk and I decided since we would work on and live in the house we needed on of the bathrooms fully functional. Since the first floor powder room was the furthest along we would start there.
The main bath is in lesser user ready shape for lack of better descriptions.
The second floor main bath has a deal of work to do and I estimate 2 people working on it 8 hours a day it would be at least 2-3 weeks to do it right.
I haven’t even started the the rundown sheet for it.
