Forward thinking

The replacement of the electrician ordeal actually kept me up at night. I felt like it was the main issue holding up the white box stage.

But in reality I’ve been so hyperfocused on the mechanicals I haven’t taken inventory of what else needed to be done before the drywall stage. Framing and insulation for starters. There is more framing that needs to be done in the basement and I discovered walls adjacent to the sun room neede beefing up. It wasnt a lot but it also needed to be done.

The insulation planning needs some attention as well. Can’t close a single wall if its not done or done right. But at least I bought it alread for a great deal at menards on black friday. I think i only paid $3 a roll.

And lets talk about the drywall and plaster board. Haven’t even began to plan that out.

With that being said, I took a step back and started looking at the bigger picture again.

I started leveling the bathroom floor to prep for cement board

I also got a crazy good deal ($20 a box) on wood flooring to start patching the other rooms.
