So proud of my work planting my hydrangeas in the front yard. I bought a bunch of clearance plants last summer. They bloomed and went dormant. I prayed they would make it through a rough Michigan winter. To my surprise they made it green and bushy, only to be killed by fucking weed-b-gone… ok setbacks you caught me sleeping. But honestly who would have though it would take out all of my hydrangeas (8 to be exact) plus my pee-gee tree. I was crushed but you can’t keep me down for long. I found new clearance plants and deals on mulch. Take that setbacks!!!
I’m going to get some flagstones this weekend and stack them around the edging like this.
Setback is crazy petty though. Bought a new high end garden hose from Costco. I went to put it on the hanger and found this jab. Really tho?
That’s okay… the manufacturer will replace it.

I ordered the flagstone and put some test pieces down. It looks great. Now all I have to do is pour the sand trench and use a little construction adhesive to secure everything.
