Mother nature decide to dump 12inches of delicate snow upon us. Since I don’t own a snow blower I had to shovel it all. Lucky for me it wasn’t terribly cold immediately after. I had to go on a scavenger hunt for a new shovel and rock salt as the blizzard created mass panic causing stores to sell out of everything. The side walks and walkway took a whole 50 lbs bag of salt to clear out the snow. It also took and additional 10 lbs of ice pellets to double secure the stairs and porch.
Since it was a toasty 30 degrees with little wind chill, I tackled putting out some Christmas decorations. Being blinded by the snow I almost didn’t notice my immediate neighbor placed a for sale sign on her lawn. I couldn’t believe it, she had gone through so much fixing her house and now that she made it over the hump and was able to move in, she put it up for sale. If only she knew I wish I can just get that far.
